I live in FL and one day when my daughter was about 7 y/o she was riding on the handle bars of a bicyle she and I were riding on and a snake fell out of a tree right in front of us. Scared us to death!!! Another time a lady I worked with went to lunch and as she was driving a snake feel on her windshield of her car. Yes, snakes can climb.

Yes, they can. I had one this spring in my crepe myrtle tree.
They can climb steps too.

I found one climbing down a wall INSIDE my house a few years back. Needless to say, it did nothing to make me feel comfortable. Luckily, DH was home & managed to get it outside. Yuck!

I live in Arkansas and in today's newspaper there was a picture taken by a dentist (right outside his door) of a king snake squeezing to death a copperhead snake. Then the king snake ate it. The article said that king snakes should never be killed and also stated that in AR it is against the law to kill any snake unless it is threatening you. Well, any snake is threatening to me. Threatening to give me a heart attack! hehe.

I have a fear of finding one in my bathroom stools. Always check before sitting down. Hate having this kind of fear.

Hey...they sure can climb.......I live in OZ (Australia) & have seen them climb the trees near me....they kinda slink from side to side...& curl around the limbs of the trees.....& its its a flat surface....they still will climb....their scent for whatever they have sourced out will drive them to it......so caution.

How does he have one? Thought it was illegal for private ownership of those types of animals???? I sure would NOT want to be his neighbor in case that thing ever got loose.........

That guy with the cobra would be one less pet if it ever got loose that's for sure!

I'd shoot the damned things sure as I'm standing here.
No second thoughts, no if and or buts!
