both the quilts are wonderful. are you a teacher or did you volunteer you time to the class to make the quilt?

The school where I teach has a "Georgia History Day" for the eighth grade and the students get to see many demonstrations and speakers about Georgia History and I and another teacher presented on quilting in Georgia. It was great to be able to expose them to the art!

wonderful work! looks like the Georgia quilt is a labor of love. what a great memory for the students. is it going to be displayed at the school?

I hope so (if I get it finished). When we do it again next year it definitely will be displayed. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Hi Karen-welcome to the board! I like your quilts and I love that you are exposing young minds to quilting too!!

I live an hour south of Atlanta in Forsyth (Monroe County). I am very familiar with Cumming---went to college in Dahlonega.
