When I was a kid, down the road lived the Dyke family. The man's first name was Holland.

The rumor going round was that his parents let his brother choose his name. No idea if that was true...

i know a man who had the unfortunit name of Ichard Dickerson poor man what were his parents thinking. my sister had some freinds who were sisters and looked alike the oldest one was named Dita since they were very blond in all sences of the word we just called them the three dittys.

thanks Lisanne. I still love it. She just accepts it and goes by Sara most of the time but a lot of people call her Sarabeth. The whole time she was growing up I only saw it once. But once I got online a few years ago I discovered it isn't as rare as I would have thought! But you don't see it very often.

My DD knew a girl with this name and same nickname, wonder if it's the same girl or if more than one was blessed with such a name.

I had twins. I wanted to name my daughter Phaedra. I thought it was beautiful. My husband said okay then we'd name our son Thor. Needless to say we forgot those names.

Yeah - they were all about 2 years apart. April was the oldest. When they were expecting the others people joked about naming the others. When they announced the names no one took them serious at first - thought they were kidding.
