I had "twilight"with my first one and she was two hours old before I knew what I had. My next two were all natural but was still given pitocin to accelerate the contractions. Hard work but well worth the resulting babies. I wouldn't have missed the experiences for anything.

I don't blame her one bit for wanting an epideral. Having the labor induced is very painful...I know, I was induced for 39 hours with my 2nd only to end up having another C-section.

i use to be a labor and delivery nurse. yea! for epidurals. nothing wrong with taking one. normal 1st time labor is 12 hours from the time contractions become regular. hang in there.

She had a beautiful baby boy last Sunday the 2nd of OCT. Her labor everyone should go through. She pushed for an hour, and went from 6 to delivery.

Congratulations to the family..Out of 6, I had 1 epideral..Talk about heaven...And when Sarah was coming, her elbow was extended..So my midwife had to lower it..I didn't feel a thing..YAY for epiderals...
