Mine would have to be "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems like nails"

For every cause there is an effect, sooner or later.

I have 4 favorite sayings - all but one from songs.

"life is so brief and time is a thief when you're undecided" from Young Hearts sung by Rod Stewart

"Once upon a time I was falling in love, now I'm only falling apart" from Total Eclipse of the Heart sung by Bonnie Tyler

In reference to love - "I don't care what consequence it brings, I have been a fool for lesser things", from The Longest Time sung by Bill Joel

And finally a quote from a co-worker's grandmother - "It's like trying to set fire to wet mule".

There are times when I am just not in the mood to
be sympathetic. Don't get me wrong I DO have a kind
and generous heart and feelings, but there are rare
occasions that this will happen to me.

So when I DO get into that kind of "don't care, don't
bother me" mood I will usually shoot off at the mouth
and say:

"If your looking for sympathy, it can be found in the
dictionary SOMEWHERE between S*!T ans syphilis, go
find it there.

At any other time I have a favor quote:
"A stranger is just a friend I have yet to meet"

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

I also like....If a clutter desk is sign of a cluttered mind, what is an empty desk a sign of?

Great notable quotables!
Coulda, woulda, shoulda...the Three Stooges of regret.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast....Alexander Pope

Stronger than an army is an idea whose time has come.

Failure is never as frightening as regret.

If you want to have a positive life, you can't have a negative mouth.
