what is your favorite all time saying (quilt or non quilt related)
#228
From my sis: This too shall pass . . . today would be good.
From a business sign: Failure isn't hitting rock bottom, it's staying there.
To my kids every day (or at least it seems that way) as I try to discourage them from hollering to me from wherever in the house: Walk to me to talk to me.

My Husband's: Shoulda Woulda Coulda
Mine: It's hell growing old, but it's better than the alternative! or: And they call these the golden years??
Grandma's: Oh Dear, bread and beer.
If I were dead, I wouldn't be here!
Grandpa's: When I was young I couldn't afford steak. Now I can afford steak but have no teeth.

I guess I have two favorites - first one I posted last evening. When I woke up this morning, I guess it was on my mind, along with the quilt I plan on working on today - thus:
8-) 8-) If you think it, you can achieve it
Someday I'll look up who said it....
