The time I saw them the most beautiful was when I was in my teens and visiting my aunt/uncle in Lake City, MI. I have seen them but more faintly a few other times. Someday I hope to see them again.

They said on the news that you could see it here in the south too, I missed it.

When we saw them last night they were red, orange, and greenish yellow. Not as spectacular as we've seen in the past, but still beautiful.

sometimes they don't last long. It was 7:30ish when we were wtching them last night, then went inside for a cup of tea, at about 9, when we were leaving SIL, the sky was clear, and the show was over.

If I could do anything I wanted----to see the northern lights would be it.

I saw the sky last night with a red look to it and wondered what made it look like that. Then on the news it explained about the lights.
I have seen northern lights once before in North Carolina facing toward the north , that was several years ago and the sky was in the colors of red and green. Glad I seen them.

Yes, saw them last night, they were red, night before last they were green. Was scaring some people that did not know what they were. We are in west central Missouri SE of Kansas City, Mo. Love to watch them thru the bed room window till I fall asleep. June

Hi Krisb! We live in Alexander, & went out on the deck last night to look, but couldn't see anything. Guess we are out of luck in this area, darn!...
