I received a sewing machine when I graduated from H.S. Sewed uniforms, clothes, etc. Then when expecting my first child made a quilt. Now it's probably more quilting than sewing but not by much!

I have sewn forever it seems. I'm currently making a dress for my grand daughter which has a smocked bodice. I've got fabric to make myself a couple of skirts.

i love to sew. for one of the swaps i'm in i made a reversible jacket with quilting on the cuffs, collar and lapels. the quilting was required, the jacket was not. that's the first piece of clothing i've done in a long time and i'm glad the old know-how came back! lol. i'll make home dec stuff, doll clothes, clothes for me, but right now i'm focusing on quilting and swaps! those are way to much fun to stop!

Have made clothing in the past, now it's mostly quilting, simple curtains, pillow cases, little girly dresses, anything the grands want, and we can't forget the mending.

I have an alteration business so I do a lot of sewing. My problem is I just want to quilt and all my clients want their clothes. Bummer!

My mom and sister always sewed.my sister started when she was a little kid making doll clothes.I didn't really start till my second chid was about 6. she is now 48. I never really liked making curtains and bedspreads, I have about made a little bit of everything. I LOVE TO SEW.

I have been sewing since I was a small child. My mom was a 4-H leader and she taught us how to knit, crochet, sew and lots of homemaker skills.

I sew some clothes, Halloween custumes and the last couple yrs. been doing machine embroidery. Quilting & machine embroidery are my favorites. Hate doing alterations.
