I guess it would be an old timey bonnet for my mother to wear in her garden.

In the third grade my daughter's nick name was duck. She asked me to make her a duck costume for Halloween. It was about a three foot long duck that she could slip into. In the end I had to take it to an apholsterer to have him sew the leather wings on. It was cute and laughable. I was very proud of that creation.

I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Quite a few years back, one of my daughters younger coworker thought that he was a 'God's gift to women. Most of the co-workers were men with a couple of women so we had to make Gag giftd for themall. She had me make cotton boxers out of really bright Christmas fabric 9this was before these became popular) and i found in my stash of craft stuff a sew in music box that played -you guessed it- "It's a small world'. Any ideas who got this "special'pair of shorts. The women, wives and girlfriends who knew him loved this. Sorry about the sexual harrasent but it was a private home party

Sorry about all the typos. Found out the hard way that you can't pour rice into rice bags to heat on the same tableas your open laptop. keeppulling grains of rice out from under my non-working keys and my proof reading is not too good.

I made my son a camoflouge cover for his cam corder even the little flip out screen, so when he was filming in the woods, the sun would not reflect off it.

costumes for miniature horses, I made Clifford the red dog, litte red riding hood , a sheep and a bull.
I've also altered a gun holder so it could be used with a gun having a scope. I've made chair pads for benches. drapes for surgical equipment. I am trying to figure out now how to make a quilt out of my husbands old caps (he has about a hundred!)

Thusnelda, I made made a needlepoint "box" for my rosin. Also did a needlepoint cover in the shape of a violin, to cover my violin in the case. AND, I've made several violin case covers.
Then, there's the horse blanket......

I made a green power ranger costume for my younger son and several other costumes. But I think the strangest thing I have ever sewn was a tent for the show Annie Get YOur Gun. It was the entire set inside the tent so it was huge. WE had to lay it out in an empty cafeteria and we moved the sewing machine to where the seams were.
