Glad I heard from one of you about the new Louise Penny book - will have to look for it at the library. I love mysteries and have just finished some sewing based ones - one was Threadville and the other Pleating for Mercy (I believe).

Some of my favorites are:
The 19th Wife, The Invisable Bridge, Cutting for Stone, Shanghi Girls by Lisa See, just to name a few.

So sad to learn of this. I read many of her books, the Pern ones, the Crystal Singer books and others. There just are no writers today who write like she did.

Just started my upstairs noel, White Knight by Jim Butcher, a fantasy, am listening to the unabridged version of Midnight by Dean Koontz a horror thriller as I do my hand quilting in the basement, and editing my personal manuscript with breakfast.
