Rather than "spinning" or "flipping" them, you can swap them with the opposite corners to keep directional fabrics lined up.

Thanks everyone. I have mine cut out and 4 squares finished. All ready thinking about what fabrics in my stash would be good for another one.

Nothing like having friends with ideas, suggestions, and advice.

Thanks

How can I get the pattern for the disappearing nine patch quilt in grays and teal?

Here is a blog with a tutorial. https://www.thespruce.com/disappeari...-quilt-2821751
You choose your own fabrics. I like to make sure my center is consistent and either bright or dark. That's where those little 'kissing' squares come from. Larger prints in the corners of the nine patch (they don't get cut) and smaller prints or blenders for the others as they do get cut in half.
