It's sad that she had such a great gift but chose substance abuse instead. I enjoyed her in her halcyon days. My only question is, was it really of such national importance that the Tv stations had to post a breaking news bulletin in the middle of a Charlie Brown special for children?

So sad to think that when she was at her best, there was no telling how far and how high she could have soared....but getting married to someone whose lifestyle encompassed drugs and alchohol changed her direction. How sad and heartbroken her mother and aunt must have been. At least her demons are now gone and those that were responsible for her introduction to those demons must live with the knowledge that a once in a lifetime talent is no longer with us.....they will live with the guilt for their lifetime.

Yes it is a loss......but let's move on and remember the wonderful years and the absolutely beautiful music she gave all of us. I for one have always felt goose bumps when I here the song, "I will always love you". Rest with peace dear Whitney while we keep hearing your wonderful voice and the many beautiful gifts you recorded for us !!!
