I got a good deal on a Pfaff Grand Quilter 18.8 with a Grace Imperial 10' frame. Got it from sewingmachinesplus.com for about $6,000 with financing 0% for 48 months! Couldn't say no to that.

I am liking my machine. I named her "Ms Joy Pfaff"... lol A lot to learn about stitch tension, but getting a lot of knowledge from a set of DVD's I bought, also from videos on YouTube. This machine has a very nice stitch, its not really loud, and I keep the same thread in the bobbin that I have in the top so I am not having any trouble keeping the tension right how it needs to be!

Then I found a Yahoo Group that has only members by invitation only, who have the exact same machine. There are about 150 ladies there, and they really do answer a lot of questions that come up for the "new-bee" me.

OK... I promise that was not a paid advertisement. I just like what I got!

    hugs, Jupiter

I am so far behind! I don't have a clue on the fabric for this swap! I have been so busy working to finish my boom 6 quilt, I just realize I don't have fabric for Boom 7! Yikes! better get busy this weekend on that!
