We switched to butter about 5 years ago. Doesn't seem to taste as good as it first did. Maybe the taste buds are wearing out. lol

I read years ago that margarine was worse for you than butter. Since I like the taste of butter a lot better, I switched. The real stuff has to be better (or less bad) than that chemical substitute!!

Oh, I remember squeesing that margerine bag really hard because without the yellow coloring the margerine looked like lard, yuck. A while back I did use some of the tub margerines but stopped because they became so watery that they made my toast all mushy. Fleishman's marg is pretty good and I use that sometimes but butter is better, tastes better too.

I use only butter for everything. Margarine sounds too dangerous. Pie crusts made with butter are delicious.

I mix real butter with an equal amount of canola oil. 2 sticks of butter and just shy of 1 cup canola oil and beat with a mixer. You have the taste of real butter with 1/2 the cholesterol and it's spreadable.

Was raised on butter (even in hard times) and that's how I've raised my own kids who are now carrying on the tradition. If I can't have butter I do without!

Margarine is one molecule short of plastic. It is like spreading "tuppeware" on your toast. Ughhh!! No margarine in my home. We use butter.

I read a long time ago that margarine is one step away from plastic. Whoa. Butter is all natural.

You just convinced me to switch. Thanks.
