Here is my block for the "red" line, but I think for my other theme I'll have to come up with something else. Just can't see the flag in purples and greens.

urgodschild2............WOW, all of your Calender theme blocks for the 2012 BOM project look so lovely together. What a neat quilt you are going to have by the end of the year. Your July block turned out really neat, I love the fabric's you chose to put together. Very nice work & thank you for sharing with all of us!!

bibliostone............Awesome July 2012 BOM block. Your color's all go together so well & it looks very striking!!
I agree with you about your second block not being appropriate with the color's of purple & green. But I just know you will come up with something just as wonderful. We can hardly wait to see how it turn's out too!!

For your second quilt, some fireworks in purple and green might work! Just a thought...

Sulabug: Thanks for the kind words! I was looking for something to do before church...and decided I could finish this block in the hour or so that I had. I guess I have Adult ADD...I just can't set and do nothing! So now I got a whole month to wait for the next block! lol

Took awhile to find a star print that would go with my batiks. Found a mottled one that I think works well.
