    that is such a touching story. My neighbors just lost their home, both cars and 3 dogs in terrible fire. It is just devastating. I am going to give them my current quilt in progress. It will not make up for the loss, but i hope it will provide a bright note in a tough time.

    Thank you so much for sharing this heartfelt story. My DH happened to walk in on me while I elastic blowing my nose & asked why I was crying. I read your post, and he just nodded (he got choked up, too.) Nice quilt.
