If so do you ahve a pattern, I am needing/wanting to make some for some GF for christmas and can't find a free on the internet. Does anyone have one they made up and woulnd't mind emailing a copy of your design to me? I am a visual learner so I really need the pattern, not too good at making them up myself, even though this does look pretty simple. If you do please PM and LMK.
    Thanks so much!

I received a completed one as a gift, and it is terrific. I use it all the time. It came with a chopstick stiletto, and a piece of a cutting mat in the back pocket for small trimming. $5 for the pattern is worth it in my opinion.

I don't travel and it would not be needed for me. For those that travel with sewing it would be great.

Oh, yes. I was given one as a gift and it's perfect for me for my paper piecing tools. Small cutting board, small rotarycutter, 1/4" ruler, scissors, etc. All fit very nicely, always have the right tools together and easy to grab and go. Fun to make too.

I knew I had seen one similar if not nearly identical to this for free.... http://dquilts.blogspot.com/2011/06/...-tutorial.html
If you do a google search for sewing tool caddy tutorial or quilting tool caddy tutorial, you will come up with a bunch of options

I like the free pattern you posted Yarn and Fabric. It looks like it is standing up and wouldn't that be cool to have on your sewing desk at class? I am thinking that if you have the small matt on the one side and put a artists small board enclosed in the flap, it would stand up and you would have a small ironing surface too!
