Default First free motion

I did a mini scrappy quilt.I wanted something to stitch. My favorite part of making a quilt is doing the binding. I started out with a few blocks then dug out the 1 1/2 stripes. They are on the chair in the picture. Close to my sewing table. Still lots to use. I have tried the free motion with feed dogs down but did not have enough control so I tried my walking foot. I used a multi color thread top and bobbin.Very easy nothing fancy but looks nice. I am not fond of the tiny FM I think it makes the quilts too heavy. I like a quilt you can wrap up and snuggle in.This may be the way to quilt the raggedy quilt.

Looks good. I love scrappy quilts and this is a keeper. Your quilting complements the top perfectly.

I like the way you did your quilting! The curves are really nice. Looks like something that Leah Day would have for a tutorial. It's so refershing to see a quilt that will be cuddled and loved. Enjoy!!!

Cute!
Hint: When FMQ, hold your quilt down firmly (press down) while moving it. It really does make a big difference in the outcome, and also allows you to do a much straighter line!
