I'm not usually a big fan of B&W quilts as they tend to all look alike, but yours is so nice and subtle and the red square is not so jarring. Very nice - please post when you're finished.

The white fabric looks like lace to me. Love it. "Maga to 3

Love it, looks like this will be my next family reunion quilt. The family members sent black/white fabric or white/black fabric, but I choose the pattern, but sometimes I have trouble deciding. This time I kept going back to the log cabin quilt, as I've never done one for a reunion quilt. Just have to do the top and my oldest niece will LAQ it on her new toy. Great quilt.

Wow...it's going to be an awesome quilt when you finish. Love your colors and the placement of your blocks. I never would have thought of putting them that way. Did you say when it was finished, that it was going to be for me??? lol I haven't tackled a log cabin yet. In a BOM class I was taking, we had to do one block and I can't say that we had a very instructive teacher so mine turned out really wonky so I just haven't had the courage to try a whole quilt. Please send us a picture of the finished quilt. You do fantastic work on all of your quilts.

Love how the center is not a solid red! Very interesting, it's wonderful!
