Wolph, that is not ugly, it is original!! The colors will be good as the baby grows and be useful for a way longer time than a regular baby quilt. :-)

When I do not want to finish a quilt I give it to a group of quilters who make quilts for hospice or sell it our guild's "garage sale" in the spring. It is certainly ok not to finish everything you start.

There are many organizations that would accept it gladly.

I don't think it is ugly, however you can finish it and give it to someone in the local nursing home and she will know love. Blessings.

This looks like what I consider a utility quilt. I made one and carry it in my car for emergencies and picnics. Add a couples of borders to make it larger and practice a quilting technique that needs some polishing and consider it done! My "utility" has had more use than I would ever had expected just riding about in my car.

This quilt isn't ugly. It is made from the Turning Twenty One pattern? I love to just take the scrapes I have and sew them every way that I can. I just finished making a Crazy Quilt, using a form of the Log Cabin Pattern. Don't get rid of this quilt, someone will love it..

Ugly, no. Warm and inviting, yes.

It looks very nice, if you don't like it, donate to a shelter for Women and Children, someone will give it the love it deserves.

My 4 mos. old grandson would adore that. I have never seen a baby so in love with colors. He will stare in fascination at colorful quilts and children's book pages, his eyes track on the pages like he is reading. It is plumb amazing to me, and he is grandchild #13.
