If you don't like it, you can donate it to NewbornsinNeed.com, they make things for babies (quilts, blankets, diaper bags, burp cloths, and bibs). Our quilt guild has picked them for our project this spring to donate to. I crocheted 30 hats to donate, I know how it is to not be pleased with something you are working on. I am sure the new mother would LOVE your quilt for her newborn baby, and knowing someone will love it will warm your heart too.

This quilt is not ugly at all. If you are not sure if you like it you could always give it to project Linus or a different organization where it will be loved and appreciated.

Looks good to me. I would maybe but a border on and quilt it and donate to a shelter or other organization who helps needy folks, if I were that unhappy with it. You may be surprised at how finishing may change your opinion of it.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the bright blue squares was that this would be a great throw for a picnic . I would place it over a picnic table and place a bowl of juicy red strawberries in the center.
