I didn't believe you...just checked with the store. I was there a couple of weeks ago. That is going to be a big loss. She had terrific stuff. Her close out sale will be starting on Monday.
Just heard about this yesterday. I am so sad. This shop was incredible.

Prairie Stitches in Oswego is a good shop. Really into the civil war reproduction fabrics and patterns.

    Tammy Tadds just closed.

There is a great shop in Sandwich, Il 1 block north of Rt. 34. I think it's called Quilter's Haven.

Do go to Jackman's Fabrics - 1234 N. Lindbergh, Creve Coeur, MO ph#314-994-1060 in case you get lost. They have ton's of fabrics, loads of examples hanging, classrooms, machines and lots more.
If you are going to be near St. Charles (great historic area) not far from city, "Patches Quilt Shop" is GREAT fun. You will love this area and can spend all day here with their shops. It's really a "don't miss" place. Address- 337 S. Main Street, ph#636-946-6004.
Have a great time! Wish I were going along!

I was in St Charles three weeks ago. DH & I were driving down Main St and he said he thought he saw a quilt shop. Then he said he was wrong, it wasn't a quilt shop!

There's a really nice shop in Ofallon, Mo. It's one of the suburbs of St. Louis.
