I have gone for 15 years and I am still so excited to do it again. It has never gotten old or stale. I usually don't buy much but the creativity and being around so many other quilters cannot be beat.

This year I have a list of carefully chosen needs. Hope I can fufill some of them. I also have a 1989 Eleanor Burns spiral bound sampler book to see if I can get her to sign. Her hair is pure dark in the picture in the book.

Lucky you!! About 15 years ago my DD and SIL were living in KY so we stayed with them and did the show. One thing I didn't notice above is suggestion to go to the AQS museum just across from the show. It's a must-see. Also, stroll along the river and see the humongous flood gates. Weather being what it is this year they might be closed as rivers are really high. We remember that as a real experience as well as all the rest described above. Have a wonderful time!!

The water is up a little, but not high enough to close the flood gates, so you ought to be able to enjoy the park at the foot of Broadway...nice stroll along the river.
