    Default New Chicken in the Pen
    Hey everyone. I'm from south central VA, Boydton to be exact where I have a small but cute quilt shop. I taught children in school for 20+ years but as the passion for teaching died it grew in color, quilting and design. So, here I am a 54 year old just starting a new business. I have somehow managed to survive the learning curve with a penny in the bank and a smile on my face.

    Hello and welcome aboard. What breed is your chicken in your avatar? I have a few RIR, 1 BO, 1 barnevelder so of course your title of your thread peeked my interest.

    I love chickens too, we have some rr's, black giants, silver laced wyndottes, seramas and the odd dominecker rooster and 4 geese!! oh and Welcome... you will love this group!
