Default Neon Sprinkles

Hello all! Once again, I've been away from the board too long! I'm still catching up on posts from January, believe it or not!
I had quite a few fat quarters of brights that were too loud (or too ugly) for anything!
I thought about doing a "Poison Arrow Dart Frog" quilt with appliqued frogs, but decided it would be too much work! Then I saw a post here on the board by Elise1, entitled "Last 4 completed quilts."
She credited "ontheriver" for the pattern...."Jeanann - #5 scrappy"...darned if I can find the link without spending all night here (lol). Anyway, it wasn't rocket science figuring out how to put the quilt together....it was a fun project, and I had enough fabric to make the two baby quilts shown here.
If these end up in the same home, the owners will have to tell them apart by the backing fabrics!

I love how bright and cheery these are. The babies will love them, and will have a good time trying to figure out which fabrics match. Amazing, isn't it, how you can use "too bright" and "ugly" material, to create beauty like this???

Love the bright colors in these quilts. The black squares and border really pop the colored squares. Think I'll try one of these.
