    Default My find!

While I was on the Shop Oklahoma Shop Hop, I found a treasure I have been looking for! I bought a 1947 Featherweight! See, I am an old broad, and that is the year I was born. I am thrilled!

Hey, we 1947er's are not old broads. We are expert quilters even if I have only been doing this for 2 1/2 years. You will love her, I bought a 1951 right after I retired. She is a dream!!! Enjoy her!!! By the way, we can fix almost anything on this one. Only needed the husband to put a new plug on mine and she has been purring right along ever since.

Well, I am thinking of Maggie. My mother's name was Margaret, so I just might call her Maggie in her honor. My came with everything working. They gave me a choice of a new foot pedal or the original one. I took the original one.

Lucky you! Maggie sounds like a wonderful name for her. And the memories of your Mom will help to put a little extra love into everything you sew.
