    Just saw a Fons and Porter program on just this subject. They did the folding and cutting the 1/4 seam as they went. They made it look so easy using this method. Will add another piecing project to my bucket list.

    In the class I took, we used a cut of film to fold then put a 1/4" ruller down and trimmed. It worked really good

    Anything to make the tearing easier! Loved the tutorial. Thanks for posting. This is obviously going to become my own new technique!

    Thanks for the tutorial. I am in the research phase of paper piecing. I would love to take a class, but until I can, I will try a few 'simple' patterns to see if I can get the hang of it. It looks complicated, but so many quilters love it, so it must be a great way to piece. Everyone on this board gives me so much inspiration.
