Hi, I use to use what was once called TOP JOB and is now called Mr. Clean Multi-Surface same thing. Use it straight out of the bottle and it will cut it.

I have my ingredients handy on narrow oblong tray next to my sink. Re-purpose box of baking soda from the refrigerator to a plastic dry parmeasan cheese container with flip lids. Label cover "baking soda for cleaning only." Hydrogen peroxide remains in its original plastic bottle. The paste works wonders!

I second and third the Krud Kutter recommendation in Replies 21 and 36. Just spray it on the dirt and wipe with a white terry cloth rag; couldn't be easier. It will work on door handles, too. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it cleans the dirty area so well that you will need to clean the rest of the door that you think looks clean. Throw the rag in the washer and you're done lickety split. If you buy Krud Kutter at Home Depot, look for it in the paint department.

I like Super clean. You can buy it in the automotive department at Wall Mart.

My daughter has 5 boys ranging from 10 years to 11 months and I used Mr Clean magic eraser at her house today to get grime off and its a miracle. I use it on my arch ways between rooms and love it.

A little squirt of Awesome from Walmart or the Dollar Store on a Mr. Clean Eraser (or generic). I just scrubbed 3 latex painted doors, one that is on the back of our garage and heaven knows DH hasn't cleaned that in a year or so! The dirt practically slid right off by itself. Took off all the sticky residue from winterizing adhesive stuff very easily too. The only 2 items I use to clean up kitchen grease from the stove hood, top of fridge, etc. Works Awesome!

After cleaning all these beautiful doors are shining would you put a spray of some kind over to protect them?
