Have you tried the Crocs works shoes? Not the casual beach Crocs you see in the stores. Crocs have many different styles not seen in most stores. http://www.crocs.com/work-clogs-flat...efault,sc.html Crocs flats or loafers are my everyday shoes. They look nice and feel great. Check out the women's dress Crocs.

Same here, SAS walking shoes were a lifesaver for me. Recommended by my podiatrist!

Crocs for me. Been wearing various crocs for almost 8 yrs. and once I started wearing them, my feet rebelled at any other shoe. I have six different pairs. My original first pair are just now going into retirement and they well deserve it.

I'm looking for shoes also. Checking different replies. I wore SAS when I was working in salon for many years. I should just go back to them. Need to find a store that carries them around here.

SAS has changed from when I use to wear them. Maybe my feet have, but they aren't as supportive or comfortable as I remember.

I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital and wear soft soled Birkenstock. My feet are very wide across the toes and they are so comfy to wear. My DD just started a job that required slip resistant shoes. She got FILA with memory foam padding and LOVES them.

I agree with all of these suggestions. I would add-don't rule out a doc martin work boot. comfy and wears very well. But if you only want a "tennis" shoe I favor New Balance and Asics

to try them on first.
I would go for the SAS. By the way it stands for San Antonio Shoes. You can go online and buy most styles and the have a good support. My daughter wears the mocassin style because she is a teacher and they are her go to shoes. She likes Christmas so that she can get a new pair. She also has a wide foot with some problems. And by the way they wear forever. Good luck with your shopping.

I was recommended CLARK'S by my Doctor many years ago. Still wear them. Hugs
