My sewing room is white decorated with anything "Forever Plaid" on the walls. I have posters, pictures I've taken of the cast, ticket stubs, "Forever Plaid" t-shirt signed by the cast and framed and even a 4' x 6' bus stop poster. Anything "Forever Plaid" makes my day!

When my daughter moved out we turned her bedroom into my studio. She had painted her walls but they were horrible. So my dh said we needed to wall paper them. Fine with me!! I chose a green, white and burgundy Toile wall paper and I LOVE it.

My room was the guest bedroom-but the only guest is my BFF who got me restarted in quilting. So she shares the room with all my stuff. It is a pale golden yellow-Man In the Moon-B Moore-with white furniture. One small north facing window. The colour warms the room and doesn't overwhelm the fabrics.

My sewing room is one of the only rooms in my house with off white walls. I grew up with off white walls and find them very boring. However, my sewing room has so many shelves on the walls for my boxes of fabrics, plus the design wall and some miscellaneous hanging items that you really can't see much of the walls anyway. The original intent when I painted them off white was so that that I'd have a neutral background that wouldn't interfere with the colors I was using.

My sewing room is a pale aqua with white lattice wallpaper on the bottom and pretty lilac paint on the top with a coordinating border in between, but I don't sew in there. My machines are in the family room which is tan with red drapes and accents. Works for me.

My sewing room was my son's room. It is white with burgandy striped wallpaper that's halfway up the wall with a narrow drk. Green border separating the paper from the white paint. I added floral valances and drk green roman blinds when it became my room. Eventually, the paper will come down and the room will be painted a nuetral color and new carpet laid. Not that you can see the walls or floor, lol. After this house is sold and I have a different sewing room, i will paint it a pretty, cheerful color.
