Default HELP!! I took the foot pedal of my FW apart because

It was squeaking and getting hard to push. Thought I would open it up and oil what I can.

Now it won't work. What do I need to do to get it working again?

***UPDATED*** I got it working

Just for the record, when I take a Singer foot controller apart I use a tiny bit of grease on the moving parts and the button if so equipped. Makes a big difference.

In the future, when you take something apart, grab your camera and take pics along the way..it is a big help when putting things back together again!

Excellent suggestion Donna, it's what I do too.
Anything complex (I do it for car repair too), the phone camera is one of the best inventions ever for home repairs. You can then relax. Especially useful for wiring.
