Oh, my! All those quilts in one week? Fantastic - and I mean that you could do all of them in one week and that they look so great!
Lastly, thank you for thinking of others. It really makes a difference to those in need of a little cheer and warmth from a fellow human being.

For the most part, I make tops and then, after I get a bunch made, I do the quilting.
I tend to buy a roll of batting that is enormous (poly) and need to use it up as quickly as possible as it is impossibly large once I take the initial plastic off the outside. The roll is usually 50 meters and expands and expands.

I did. I gave away the two double knit ones this morning! The recipients were delighted to get them and I was soooo happy to get rid of them! I took pictures. I can post them if you want. One was to a lady in her 60's and the other was to a blind man in his early 50's I think. They both were delighted with how warm they were!

The 2 lucky recipients of the dk quilts (aka ugly duckling--remember the tale?) will have a warm winter thanks to you. What a blessing all the recipients have with you in their lives. Winter will soon be coming and these will warm bodies to warm hearts and souls.
