I made a cover for our fishing boat to keep the leather seats good. I also made two refrigeration covers for our trailer that we put on when we leave it in the winter months. The boat cover took up the whole room when I was making it. Never again.

My contribution to this post is about something my mother made in ND in 1951. My brother had been born in January as a preemie, and it was a "closed" winter (that means a winter when you are stuck at home because of snow). My dad would ski cross country 2 miles to my grandparents' farm to get milk for us. Mom made a backpack from a pair of Grandpa's bib overalls for Dad to use. She custom designed it to hold the 1 quart milk containers.

The good news is that we were able to get out for church on Easter.

I once made a Hallowe'en mask for a pink flamingo yard ornament!

I made a tote for a thermos that was divided to keep the thermos upright and the other half of the tote was divide in half to hold two cups so nothing touched the other items and would not break. It had a solid bottom so it would stand.

Oh, these are interesting. DH has asked me to make a "dust" cover for his air compressor. Then he wanted some bags to put the truck extension mirrors in. It's hard to think of things to make for men, so was glad I could do them for him. I don't think he thought much of the "dust" cover, though.

I made a scarf for my DH's RC airplane pilot--it was very small with frayed edges, met his approval !

I started reading this and had to laugh. I remembered my husband calling a bra a "over the shoulder boulder holder"...lol

I can't think of anything strange that I have made. My life is just to tame and ordinary...sign
