Your son is very lucky to have a doctor with a creative sense of humor...it makes the icky stuff easier. And how cute is your son to confide such a thing to Doc...

That would make such a cute framed honor to the doctor's waiting room wall! What a great doctor to pay attention to his patient. My daughter had a neurologist like this when she was a little one, who came in the room and sat down on the floor so he could communicate with her - the patient! Awesome!

That story's been going around the Internet a long time. Cute to hear it again.

Love the Dr. response to son's answer.

At least his ear drum didn't rupture.

Last week my husband had an earache along with the "crud" (Dr. official diagnosis)
that he got from me.
Later that evening my hubs was laying on the bed when he heard a loud pop, than
something that sounded like trains and planes. Only to discover tat his eardrum had
ruptured, he called the Dr. office just to let them know it happened.

He knows there isn't anything that could be done about it though (it happened when
was a kid also).

Doesn't the pit of peaches have arsenic in it? Don't know a bout the apricot pit
