Any quilt can be tied, and I know that.........I'm sure we all do. But what interests me so much is the fact that her description of the quilts in that book must be so special. At any rate, I can hardly wait to see what the book is.

I hope we get the name of this book before I am too old to tie knots.

Yep, am still waiting too, as quilting is hard, not for me, but for my shoulders LOL.

Just got a pm today. She is looking for the book. She thought it might be from : Rosemary Wilkinson. I went to check out her books, in her first post it said tied quilts- all I see is tied and stitched quilts. I will continue to wait.

Can you tell us what the cover looked like? Maybe we can locate it that way.

The quilt my grandma gave me has been used for decades..no fair trying to count them! It is well loved and worn. But there is no evidence of the poly yarn cutting the cotton fabric.

Ok now I want to tie a quilt. Brought back memory of a dear friend of mine (unfortunately she died several years ago) who was so excited to show me the mantle cover she had made. It was a tied quilt for the mantle and it was gorgeous.
