I also use the same in everything except mini quilts. My go to batting is Warm & Natural/ or White. It works in almost everything I do and have never been disappointed with it.

Great question! I ended up using W&N in my newest table runner and I am very pleased with the look of it. I tried a runner w/o batting and personally didn't care for the look of it. Interesting to read all the responses.

I use Pellon because it lays very flat, and washes the same. I personally don't care for table runners that look "scrunched" up by the batting when it shrinks. But that's just me. Some do.

I've used Hobbs 80/20, Thermore, and fusible fleece.
