My DH is working on a new sewing cabinet right now & I love yours. Mine will have a folding leaf on the left side to hold fabric or just give me more room when I need it. I too, have a Juki & I love my Juki. I also have a Bernina 820 which I am very happy with & it is quality through & through but I love my Juki. My Bernina cost 7 times what my Juki cost but when I need a quick "go to" machine, I always choose the Juki. Mine is a straight stitch machine but talk about a work horse. Have had it 4 years & still has not needed servicing & not a lick of trouble with it except perhaps "user" created !! LOL

I have the same machine- absolutely LOVE it! I also built my own sewing table using a kitchen table as a base-

REally nice. I had the same thing done for my Brother PQ1500s (Juki clone), but I had the handyman cut the opening big enough so the extension table fits in it. I couldn't figure out how I was going to access the bobbin area without the extra opening the extension table has. I guess my fat fingers just don't fit in the tiny space that would have been left had I not used the extension table.
