There was a thread not to long back of a home made quilting frame and she purchased the do hickey thing the sewing machine sat on. I would love to find that again and maybe get my sweet darling husband to make me one. Yea gonna take some buttering up but will be worth it. Could someone direct me to the post. I did a search but could not find it.

Thanks

I can't remember the site, but I was able to download an e-book for about $20 for directions for making a machine quilting frame. I remember it had something to do with the name of Richard. I googled "machine quilting frames" or something like that. Anyway, they seem pretty easy. I am waiting for my hubby to get mine made.

this "page" was from here. Grace......... Queen something like that sticks in my mind. The person is from here. She made the frame from things she had around the house and purchased the "grace" do hickey thing that goes front to back and left to right.

That is pretty cool. Have you ever see the frames made for a regular machine? You move the quilt in the frame instead of moving the machine. I got one and it works pretty well.
