I am trying so hard to pick a favorite "grouping" of the blocks here but I just can't!! Everyone's blocks ALL look so different and beautiful!!! I just signed up for the 50 paper pieced stars that will begin in January and we'll be doing one block a WEEK. That will suit me just fine. I am looking forward to it. I've had Carole Doaks book for a year and her paper and today ordered the cd so I can print out smaller blocks not 12" one's for that BOW.

More really awesome blocks, ladies. Our high school mascot was a tiger--love your interpretations of this block and how they all look together.

From my understanding, we're on break now until January. Correct? I'm with you, NYGal--I like doing a block a week and look forward to 50 Fab stars.

I might make the tiger stripe over it is really loud.
Now GrannyQ they are just fantabulious! I love all o' 'em. If by the time ya have all the blocks done, ya still don't like the tiger stripes then by all means remake it. I'd wait till then though 'cause it might just be what the other blocks call for.

granny Q I think you should wait and see what happens with your block before you make it over. I like it

While we're not posting SYE blocks here, the December block has been posted at Quilt on the Square. It's really pretty! I hope to be caught up with life some time this month. LOL!

Here's to a warm and wonderful holiday for all of you!

Blessed Be,

SueK

Finally after all the struggles with cataract surgery of November, the right eye is seeing 20/20, but the left one does not, so ordered glasses so I can continue quilting...meanwhile with reading glasses I finished November blocks of Loosey Goosey and Tiger stripes... too...Siberian tiger adult, juvenile and cub...maybe its the cold weather that made me think of it...or memories of the Siberian tiger pair and cubs at the Big Fisherman in Arkansas County Texas...that were killed when someone torched the place late at night.

Very pretty blocks, QNS. I love your use of the bright colors in Loosy Goosy and more subtle colors in Tiger. I really like them both. You have been busy!
