WOW! What a great job! He must be a perfectionist (just great for first tries)! Keep up the good work and have fun creating! Hope you enjoy "sharing" your sewing space too!

Someone above mentioned putting him to work with his first love (building) into a new sewing space for you, so that it will become an (ours) space, with the idea in mind of adding a long arm machine (can't be beat for quilting, even though FMQ is so popular); I share my sewing space with my son because he loves to run my long arm, and has mentioned a time or two for me to teach him how to piece a quilt. He loves when I have one of my pieced quilts lined up for him to quilt. And I don't mind at all letting him run my Gammill--I don't know if other brands are easier to learn or manage, but it has been a real learning thing for both of us getting used to this one--mine is a Classic with the stitch regulator on a 14' table. I keep thinking that I'll show off my sewing room soon, but haven't taken the time to learn to post pictures on the internet.

What a wonderful job he is doing! One of my best quilt students was a carpenter whose points always matched!

He may have infringed upon your space, but this new "hobby" should keep him occupied over the winter.

Very nice start to his quilt. I don't think I'd like sharing my sewing space and I'm not usually selfish.
