It's so wonderful when at least one of those you love best understand you, isn't it? Congrats to your son for paying attention! Enjoy your lovely gifts.....even the cookware!

my middle daughter is preggers with an "oops" baby. she's almost 40, and after much worry and testing, diagnoses, and assurances, we know that she is having a boy. her first/only, so far, is a 7 year old daughter. and every time i hear about something like this, all i can think of is how important this son is going to be in her life. his dad is an exceptional man, and if this son is even close to him, she will be doubly blessed, indeed!

congratulations on raising a wonderful son--and for marrying someone who picked up on something you liked, and made it a larger part of your life. new cookware is a rare treat! you are one blessed lady, all around!!

I am sure you will enjoy your gift and think of your son every time you use the items. My DH always ask "what do you want?" and this year I didn't know...so I really got spoiled....$100 gift card...a wooden thread rack...60mm rotery cutter...6 cones of thread...a large magnifier that attaches to the machine,,and some velcro? and those are just the sewing things...So I guess after 48 years I better keep him....

Well, I guess that is my issue - we have only been married for not quite 27 years. We'll check back after Christmas 2035.
