If you exchanged that gray -- assuming it's not too late -- for that limey green color, if you can find it, it would look brighter and more lively. As it is, I think you are too hard on yourself and your quilt. The fabric is great and I really like your 4 patch centers. Maybe it's just busier than you anticipated. Nice quilt!

Get rid of your 'hang ups' about this quilt. It is a great kids quilt.....

I agree with all those who say the girls will love their quilts just as they are,. Finish them up (i think i might use a brown binding or border if it were me).....but give them with love and they will be a treasure for the girls.

What I would do on the second quilt is outline each inner square. I think these busy fabrics need separation. Really like these colours though. But finish what you've done. You may feel better about it once you've quilted it.

oh my it will be loved! I'd venture to say that when this quilt is done it will look so much better than you thought. Do the twins really need the same kind of quilt? Maybe the same pattern but different fabric or same fabric with different pattern?

I vote to finish both quilts and post pics of them when you're finished. The fabric is beautiful and those two little girls will love them. I think you will be surprised.

I think it is going to be an awesome quilt the way you have it. I would do the second one the same except maybe put a solid brown sashing around the blocks. The twins will love them just because you made it for em.
