    Default Took the plunge.....

I just ordered a Juki 2010Q today and can't wait to get it! I'm so excited! My Janome is sick and we can't figure out what's wrong with it. I'll take it to a repair shop and see what they say abut it. If it won't cost a fortune to fix it then I'll do that and have a spare. My Juki won't be here until the 25th or 26th. Worst part is I was right in the middle of my Grandson's quilt when the Janome decided it didn't want to work any longer. I have no machine to sew on right now and I'm having withdrawals!!! LOL!!!

Have fun with your new toy! I know how I felt when I got my Brother SQ9000 3 1/2 years ago. I had to FORCE myself to read the manual though. lol

You won't be sorry! I have a Juki just like the one you ordered, and I LOVE it.

Congratulations on getting a new machine. I have more than one and it is great to have a backup just in case.

My janome 6500 is sick as well. Bobbin issues. That Juki is one I was seriously going to buy too. Please let me know how you like it. Did you purchase it online?

Lucky Duck! Congrats on your new machine. I just finished a 63 x 88 top and thought, if I had a Juki I could finish this myself. Oh well, I can dream.

My sewing machine died and I was without one for almost 5 months. It nearly killed me! But you should see the embroidery I finished . . .

    I feel your withdrawal pain.

Yes I did purchase it online. The person I bought it from still has machines available and they were about $100 lower than anywhere else I found. I bought mine through Ebay. Here's the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201025645118...84.m1439.l2649

That is the very reason I decided to get the Juki. I want to be able to finish larger quilts on my own.
