This happened to me YESTERDAY on my last row of quilting. Needless to say, I am still getting it out. But I did retread, change bobbin and clean and my sample worked fine. Good luck.

I had that happen once and I took the bobbin case out, cleaned everything, rethreaded both ends and everything was fine. Don't know what actually happened, but ugh, at least I fixed it.

Try a new bobbin, rethread the machine (snip it at the spool and pull out through the needle end) and finally, clean the machine. A new needle wouldn't hurt either.

I've corrected this mess by just re-threading the machine as you said. I also make it a habit to check the back of my stitching at the end of each line that I sew so that I won't have as much to correct if this happens.

I found the top thread wasn't threaded right.. rip out and continue on, happens to all of us at one time or the other.

I will be interested to see what others say
I think machines just get tired and want a rest! Follow advice above and add a new needle and by the time you get all that done, the machine will have recovered from its snit. froggyintexas

I totally agree with Deb.

I get this when I am getting close to end of bobbin and do exactly as others say.
