100 year old singer sewing machine - $1200 (desoto)

description: We have a 2001 Yamaha bear tracker for sale. Starts, and drives perfectly, nothing wrong with it what so ever. Just no need for it. Asking 1200 obo. Text 636-579-4897. Desoto.

I guess they named the machine Bear Tracker and there's nothing wrong with it. (except the ad)
Except the year and the lack of belt. No, there doesn't appear to be.

Actually the blue bookish value on that there Bear Tracker is 825-1085. So, overpriced, as usual.

That Swinger machine is in a very nice cabinet. Macybaby I see why you like that one.

Did anyone realize that the original ebay item was still for sale? I am shocked that no one has purchased it! Especially since there is free shipping.

I'm tempted, but I really don't know what I need it for...
    That said,... what motor?

knee lift or knee actuated rheostat? Looks also like maybe the treadle is not hooked to a flywheel but something else?

I'll let you know when I get it home? I'd say knee lift, and the motor is at the back just out of the frame. I called her, and I'm leaving shortly to go get the truck and get it.

ETA: She took it to a shop here, they said $100 to tune it up, handwheel is seized, a lot of work blah blah blah...

Brought it home Knee Lift, the treadle hooks to a lever that engages the clutch on the motor. I'm going to post more about it in another thread.

She took the photos at just the right angle as to see no hint of the motor at all.
