Judy Niemeyer Sea Urchins

You stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with this one. I too would love to know if this was a paper piece project. How long do you think it took from start to finish? I guess whatever the time, it was time well spent, just look at the results. Wow!

Thanks for your kind comments.
Yes, this is all paper pieced, it was a fun project but I got a little tired of sewing all the circles, I think I will avoid curves for a little while I think it took me around 5 months to finish, all the paper piecing didn't take too long, Judy Niemeyer's methods are very organaised and I found it easy to do a little after work each day, but I needed to find a big block of time to lay out the quilt and put it all together as some pieces overlap others and my design wall wasn't big enough to have the quilt laid out, so I had to do it on the floor.
