I don't think any machine can reproduce a hand stitch look but they will get close and they are fun to play with. the Sashiko does come the closest to hand stitching as welll as some other very costly machines.

What foot are you using for quilting. My reed eye has a back clamp with the one larger toe foot. Is there a better foot to use for quilting?

I think its pretty neat how you can change the way the stitches look.

What would happen if you used a thicker thread rather than two threads?
