I've started a new project that has large white squares between the colored strip so thought I'd hand quilt different motifs in each one. Also going to stitch in the ditch to set away the block from the edge. This is the first time I've stitched in the ditch and those of you who do this often sure have my respect! Will be thrilled when the callous on my thumb and finger return. LOL!!!! Until your our callouses return, go to the office suppliy store and get some finger cots in your size and use them to save your poor fingers. I use them for hand sewing, and no more sore fingers.
