http://sacramento.craigslist.org/app/4432148189.html I didn't know they had FW clones. This is the first one I have seen..I am so tempted to call them!

I would strongly recommend doing your research before buying one of those.

I think that the price is way to high for a reproduction. This is NOT a Singer Featherweight...this machine is probably only 10 years old.

Pretty cool. That's the first featherweight clone I've seen too. Anyone know the story behind them?

Oh, great gobs.

Can someone else provide a big long grammar rant here so I don't have to? What happened to the "to be" in that phrase? I seem to see this more and more. "My lightbulb needs replaced..." or "The cord needs fixed."

Help the world. Where is Captain Grammar?!??!?!?!?

Done now.

I do that. I tend to write and speak in "shorthand" sometimes. I can put up with poor grammar but bad spelling drives me nuts, especially when spell check is available. I think we all get something wrong from time to time. I know I do.

my bad spelling comes from a stupid android phone that hides the area where ypu type, 1/2 the time you can't put the cursor where you need to in order to fix em.

Both are very cool and I don't think there are too many surviving examples.

I have never seen the spool holder, but the Boye needle case is pretty common.
