Default Rag quilt with cotton shirts and flannel

I just had to try this. Flannel has gotten so expensive so I put the shirts on the front with frayed edge appliqued patches and flannel on the back. I did use the Accuquilt rag die to cut both layers at the same time. I wasn't sure how it would rag up but I think it turned out fine. I made it for my daughter and son-in-law's new camper. I also made some pillowcases out of the left over flannel. They loved it. It was a nice surprise for them.

I made a flannel rag with cut up shirts I bought at thrift stores. It came out neat.
